MODULE THREE - HOPPA SELLING SUCCESS

Resorthoppa services are easy to add to your bookings….all clients need to get to their hotel and only have limited options:

  • Transfers
  • Car Hire
  • Public Transport
  • Airport Taxi services

Transfers are by far the easiest of these to sell.

To help sell an add-on transfer service we need to identify client’s needs and wants:

  • Do they know the resort?
    • resorthoppa is ideal if people are unsure of where they are headed to
  • Surely they can hire a car?
    • not everyone needs to have a car if they intend to spend their holiday in the resort
    • not everyone wants to drive overseas
  • Are they used to package holidays?
    • make your dynamic package the same as they are accustomed to by adding in transfer services
  • Are they travelling with a group?
    • our services are ideal for moving lots of people at the same time
  • Is their time limited?
    • We can have a driver waiting to take them away… direct to their hotel
  • Are they confident travellers?
    • Even the most accomplished traveller is glad to have a welcoming face at a strange airport
  • Do they want to control their costs?
    • A guaranteed price no matter what - regardless of traffic conditions
    • No rip-offs targeting tourists
    • No extra charges
    • No hidden extras
    • Paid in full before they leave as part of the holiday cost - not part of their spending money!

    In this section we’ll help you identify the reasons to sell transfers over other modes of transport and handle objections from clients - just select the options you could use to help you sell a transfer to your customer
     

    1. Public transport will be cheap and easy…

    Public services can often be hard to find at airports where there are many services all going to different places at different times - resorthoppa have specific instructions for clients on how to meet our services    
    B) It’s not always cheaper - most public services only operate to a central point then the client needs to get another form of transport - often incurring extra costs  
    C) It needs to be paid for on arrival - this can lead to nasty surprises if any surcharges apply 
    D) They depart according to a schedule - clients may have to wait for considerable time, cutting into their valuable break.  Resorthoppa private services can get them to their accommodation in ease and comfort
    E) It can be hard to use public services with luggage (and even worse with children along too) - our vehicles have sufficient space for luggage and as we depart in a timely manner - there’s not too much waiting for bored younger folks! 
       

    2. Local Taxis are readily available and cheaper than pre-arranged services….

    Charges vary massively with local taxi services - our prices are consistent and competitive
    B) Metered services depend on traffic and road conditions - resorthoppa guarantees the price - no hidden extras
    C) Many resorts are renowned for their “dodgy drivers” - resorthoppa only use reputable suppliers with approved licences and all necessary insurance  
    D) Local cabs can go the long way round to escalate fares - our drivers take you the easiest and quickest way as they have nothing to gain by taking longer routes (no metered charges)  
    E) Taxis are not always available - the number of cabs allowed to operate from airports is limited (in some airports it’s as little as 7 cabs!!) so on busy days and times there can be long lines   
    F) Waiting times for cabs are known to be in excess of 1 hour in many key gateways (especially on days with main charter arrivals) - resorthoppa will have a service waiting or very near by!
    G) Not all local drivers speak English - our suppliers already know where to go to - so there’s no confusion.. 
     
    3. Car Hire is a better option….
    Not everyone wants to drive overseas - it can be daunting - especially on mountain roads  
    B) Car hire isn’t needed if your clients intend to stay in resort - trying to add on unnecessarily could switch them off - but everyone needs to get to their hotel - transfers are ideal 
    C) There are lengthy pick up procedures for cars - insurance, checking the vehicle, taking deposits - you can just jump aboard one of our shuttle services or meet your private service driver and be on your way - straightaway..  
    D) It’s not suitable for large families or groups who need several vehicles to get them to where they need to go - resorthoppa can cater for any group size 
    E) It’s a risk - if they are involved in an incident car hire can be a very costly option - resorthoppa transfers clients safely and securely giving piece of mind to agent and customer alike
